Emma and Chris had a small private wedding ceremony in the beautiful Scottish town of Gretna. The couple travelled from their home town of Murton, along with family and friends for a traditional anvil ceremony, along with traditional pipes played for Emma’s entrance and during the ceremony.

We arrived at the hotel to capture the preparation of the whole party and quickly felt part of the day, relaxed shots of hair and make-up and the excitement built as the time passed. The ceremony time quickly approached and Chris checked along with the other Groomsmen his appearance and headed off to the church to wait for Emma to arrive, nothing could have prepared him for her beauty.

Throughout the ceremony Emma, held Chris’s hand which such love the whole room was filled with emotions and small touching gestures, wiping away tears and more through the day. With highly emotional speeches from all, we felt moved to tears.
